Sea Sea Adventure / Sea Sea Semporna 仙本那好康 under Dlearn Adventure Sdn. Bhd.
We understand that travel plans may be affected by health-related restrictions, border controls, or flight disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic or other similar public health situations.
To support our guests, Dlearn Adventure Sdn. Bhd. (operating as Sea Sea Adventure / Sea Sea Semporna) has introduced the following travel support measures.
1. Health & Safety Commitment
The safety and wellbeing of our guests remain our top priority.
All partner resorts, boats, and transport providers follow standard hygiene, sanitization, and safety procedures as guided by the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia and Sabah State authorities.
Guests are required to comply with local SOPs, including mask use (if required), temperature checks, and any resort-specific safety protocols.
2. Booking Flexibility
If your confirmed trip cannot proceed due to COVID-19-related travel restrictions, the following options may be offered:
Free Date Change:
Your booking can be postponed to a later date within 12 months from the original travel date, subject to resort and boat availability.
Credit Transfer:
The amount paid can be converted into a travel credit for future use at the same resort or other partner resorts under Dlearn Adventure.
Name Change:
Bookings may be transferred to another traveler’s name at least 48 hours before check-in, subject to approval and resort policy.
Note: These options apply only to cases directly affected by government-announced travel bans, border closures, or quarantine orders.
3. Refund Policy under COVID-19
If your booking is cancelled due to official government restrictions, we will assist in coordinating partial or full refunds depending on the resort or operator’s specific policy.
Refund processing time may take up to 30–60 working days due to coordination with third-party partners.
Bank and administrative charges may be deducted from the total refund amount.
For cancellations due to personal reasons (e.g. positive test, close contact exposure) where travel is still permitted, the standard cancellation policy applies.
4. Guest Responsibilities
Travelers are responsible for ensuring that all vaccination certificates, test results, and travel documents comply with airline, resort, and Malaysian government requirements.
Guests showing symptoms of illness may be refused boarding or resort entry as part of public health precautions.
Dlearn Adventure shall not be liable for losses resulting from failure to meet health or testing requirements set by authorities.
5. Force Majeure Clause
In situations where travel is disrupted by pandemics, government actions, or natural disasters, Dlearn Adventure will:
Assist with alternative arrangements, rescheduling, or travel credits; and
Follow the respective resort’s official COVID-19 policy for refunds or amendments.
However, cash refunds are not guaranteed unless approved by the resort or operator.
6. Travel Insurance
Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance that includes coverage for:
COVID-19 medical treatment
Trip cancellation or interruption
Flight or transport delays
Mandatory quarantine expenses
This helps protect your booking value and ensures smoother claims for unexpected events.
7. Updates to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect new government regulations or industry practices.
The latest version will always apply to new and existing bookings.
